Damn, those Sk8 Lows...If the leather quality is the same as the recent DQM pack, I might have to jump on those.

Im fairly certain from the looks of it that the leather for this release wont even come anywhere close to the DQM pack leather. Anyone who has held any of the pairs from the DQM release in their hands is probably wishing for that quality on all future releases but unfortunately thats wishful thinking

Samples don't always reflect how production pairs will actually turn out. There were some leather zapato del barco's from the holiday classics line that had really shiny/cheap looking leather and the production pairs came out completely different with way nicer leather....We will see come April

These look good. The only pair I want is the sk8 lows. Man I'm glad to see that Vans is doing more with that model in collabs and syndicates.

I feel like Vans is suggesting that the sk8 lows are the best of the series, cause they feature the materials from the authentic and the OS on their interior, instead of featuring all the materials on each shoe. Almost as if the sk8 low is the spawn of the OS and authentic, if that makes sense. Haha, I'm crazy, I know, but hopefully someone out there knows what I mean. Basically, the sk8 low is the way you can get the characteristics of the entire pack without actually buying the entire pack (so long as you're looking for visual characteristics).

I love that Vans releases sets knowing to make a shoe within it which can be worn by most of us, instead of just crazy colorways with wild (literally) materials. I'm stoked on this release!

The Sk8-low is supposed to represent both the other two shoes.

Yeah, I love that the sk8-lo has both patterns in the interior. Definitely makes it a must-buy for me! And I'm guessing that if the leather is shiny, it was chosen because of the appearance it gives the shoe and not cuz it was cheaper or to cut corners. It could be really high quality leather that was shined up cuz AVE and Dill liked the aesthetics better that way? It's grown on me since it gives 'em a crazier vibe that way. We'll see how they actually turn out, though!

Since these are an April release, I think I know what my bday present to myself will be.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's gonna be more like those. I think it's a unique look, especially since so many things are matte finish lately (even though I love that look, too).

Erwin, if you ever have any idea or way I can find those in a 9, please, PLEASE tell me, because those are the most beautiful Sk8 Hi's of all time. I even showed the old lady and she agrees. Congrats on such a hot shoe man
