No need to be sorry. Little glue did the trick and I haven't had a problem with them sense. The shoes are fairly robust considering the sole constuction problems that I had. At least the leather ones are. That's why I'm kind of iffy on the suede ones.coco dips wrote:sorry about your sole. i wasnt talking about construction, but since we are on the subject.
my brown pair white stitching has been through torrential down pours this summer in nyc......yes the leather broke through where the heel hits, but other than that and all the other pairs i own...5.......i have had 0 problems with construction or the sole falling apart. i wear these everyday.
i dont like hybrid shoes, and visvim most definitely are, and waaaaaaaaay overpriced....but again its my opinion.
Don't get me wrong, I fucking love these shoes. The siloute is far from original though. They're a deconstructed moccasin, just like the FTB's are a suped up (or hybrid) moccasin.
I'm with you on the price of the Visvims in general. They're really expensive, but the quality is really unmatched. I've probably got at least 75 pairs of kicks right now, some pretty nice stuff, but none of them can really compete with the comfort of them...but I can totally understand not wanting to spend that much money. Matter of fact, I didn't. I just talked about them enough that my girlfriend got me a pair.
