haha! those half cabs are horribly choked in the pic, if i was at magic instead of stuck running the shop i would've made sure i re-laced those suckers at the booth.. but yeah no worries, both shoes have multiple lace options, and the laces on the half cabs aren't as shitty in real life as they look in the pic.

my bad guys, a little late on responding on this.. anyways I asked Andy, my boss, what was up with that lace job. He said he had em laced up proper at the booth and the Hypebeast photographer tightened/messed with the laces before he took the pics haha. Anyways, our Vans Rep stopped by today with the latest samples since those were old samples in the booth @ Magic. In the HB pics the silhouette on the HC looks way off since the sample was made at another factory.. new one looks proper, with the panels at the right measurements and what not. Definitely keeping the metal plate since its pretty much the main focal point of the shoe. In this newest sample we ditched the black panel behind the metal plate, looks a lot cleaner, as well as made a couple other changes/adjustments you'll see later. The bedford is pretty much the same for the most part except with the exact materials we called out (color scheme is the same as the pic) and with minor tweaks and adjustments to certain things without getting into minute details. both latest pairs look a lot better than the samples in the HB pics.

Erwin, unfortunately we don't do international shipping, using Guam as a proxy might be your best bet. I have no info on this, but we do have a store in Berlin and they might decide to send some to the shop over there, but like I said.. it's just a scenario in my mind, but its unlikely since the numbers on these will probably be limited and kept to our US store as far as I know. haha again, these are all just scenarios in my head-but you never know. No details as far as pre-orders either, but i'll get back to you guys as soon as I get word. thanks guys
