dope stuff man got my grail in there!
Re: Tomcat (formerly ActiveRider)
Derek: Thank you very much.
Portugal: I'm working on getting my B.S. in Materials Engineering. How about you?
I haven't bought too many shoes during my time in college. Coalition is a pretty good shop, but they don't sell Vans. The only shop that I really do go to is Skate Warehouse, but it's kind of far from school and they only get GR stuff.

Re: Tomcat (formerly ActiveRider)
Portugal,
From my experience, nearly every student that comes in as an engineer knows they want to do some kind of engineering, but not sure exactly what. All the engineers will be taking the support courses, calculus, chemistry, physics, as well as your major classes. You kind of figure out what interests you. If worst comes to worst and you find that you want to switch within the College of Engineering, it probably wouldn't be too hard within the first year or two because you're taking nearly all of your support courses.
My advice, don't worry about it. Have fun and you'll figure it out.
