So I bought these sz12 Steel Gray Velocita LX's off eBay, they just came in today and before I opened the box I noticed something a little strange. The Box seemed a bit different. It's a lot thicker than any Vans box ive encountered. The box itself has a decent weight to it. Since I havent seen these in person before I don't know what to expect. The mid-sole is a very subtle off-white, the extra laces have no tip to them (straight cut rope), and lastly the price tags a bit fishy. I bought these for $35, I know they retail for $120, the box came with a random $74.95 price tag, seems strange. Maybe I'm just over thinking it but Id like to get some feedback on these. Mainly the concern is the box. Thanks (more pics in the next post)

those are legit. The Vans Vault (LX) are a thicker weight and heavier than the General Release. Price tag is probably just a sale tag. Laces are just to look like the American Indian theme that Taka always does. You got yourself a great shoe.

yeah the shoe itself seemed top notch but the box just threw me off. all the vault boxes i have are nowhere near as thick as that box but then again all the vaults I have are era's. and yeah I'm very satisfied with the velocita, especially psyched on not having to drop $120 on it.

Yeah all my Vault boxes vary in thickness. Most of them are the thicker kind like the one you posted though.

Looking to get a pair of Surfrider Foundations but am only familiar to the black, red, cappuccino, navy, and grey CW. Was wondering if anyone knows if this teal CW was made or if this is fake.. shoe looks straight, just have never seen this color before..

yeah they are legit. Not sure what you are considering cappuccino but they made a brown as well as a tan pair that you didnt mention.
