Under The Palms

After sitting on the name "Under The Palms" for the past couple days.. I've really grown a greater appreciation for the name. I still can't pinpoint exactly what I like about it, but maybe that it's so general and broad that you can interpret it in so many different ways, essentially something we wanted right? Visually it's still growing on me because I'm used to hashtagging OTWS / always, ALWAYS typing offthewallsite.net to browse. So that, like some old habits will have to adjust. But overall I'm glad everyone was able to come to an agreement & by the looks of the instagram, we've received positive feedback.

I just wanted to say thank you to Billy for always being on top of things, especially with this community. My passion for Vans, just like many others on this site, wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't for OTWS. I pretty much had to stop going on the forums because I was spending too much $$ with all good deals in the heads up thread! Also, I really appreciate you being open about the previous art shows we've hosted together. It's really been a blessing.

So with that being said, I'm very excited to move forward with the name & I can't wait to see what Under The Palms will deliver to the world!

I just typed in otws in the web browser too lol. gotta break that habit.

If you notice, all the old site links redirect to the new site name anyways, and show up in the browser as the new name as well.

Kyle, that's tight! Are those In-N-Out palm trees?! I know my In-N-Out, lol. If I can find a patch embroiderer who can do a small run, then I'd be down to make a few.

I used those as reference for my inspiration! haha I may do some tweaks, but I had some random inspiration this morning and went with it! I don't have a preference between the two yet, either. I'm open to any changes or tweaks if you really do want to make something out of it, tho. Or have any other ideas!
