Under The Palms

Right off the heels of a successful art show with Yojie Japanese Fondue, we're proud to announce our next art show is right around the corner, this time teaming up with Bait to create "California Native", asking artists to depict what it means to be a Cali native. At first, it was going to be an exhibition showcasing just California native artists, but that would make for a pretty limited art showcase. Perhaps when we grow our network, we can do something along those lines. I came up with sort of a new angle to take on this show, and that is for artists who are from California to depict, through their eyes, what the Cali lifestyle is. For artists everywhere else, I'm asking what do you see in the California lifestyle. It's definitely going to be interesting. With the amount of subcultures that exist here, the possibilities are endless. Here's just a few that come to mind: Restaurants, Theme Parks, Skating, Surfing, Custom Cars, Music, Tattoos, Motorcycles, Hollywood, Sneaker Hunting, Sneaker Shops, Marijuana Culture, Gang Culture, and so on and so forth. You get the idea. There's so much shit going on here. Pass the word along, and we're accepting all forms of media that can be hung on the wall. Canvas, Digital Print, Photography, Painting, etc.
