They sell the eraser at your local Journey's I believe. I have one lying somewhere around here. It works really good. Only thing is it wastes so fast!

Yeah or a Mr. Clean magic eraser, but those shred up really fast too. I'm telling you all, MICROFIBERS. Cheap, and works great.

Actually, the dude just used an eraser on the end of a pencil. I'll have to check out one of these microfiber towels, and the journeys eraser.

I wanna cosign the homie Jason Markk's sneaker solution. I just cleaned 5 pairs the other night and literally breathed new life into every pair. I wore my Taka Sk8 lows to EDC last year and haven't worn them since. Cleaned em up and they look brand new. My PEs look brand new too. If you're gonna clean the upper just make sure you have a soft brush or a microfiber cloth and be gentle.

For tough grime on the midsole I sometimes use a green scouring pad but I don't apply a lot of pressure.

i have to go with Jason Markk's also , but before i ran into that i was a microfiber and soapy water man . I just try to clean at least once a week or if i am really bored and have time after every wear . Then it only takes a few seconds and a few quick wipe downs. I have some shoes from 2000 that still look ok because of clean after wear method.

OR. . .

Dont clean your shoes, try not to get them dirty and if they do get dirty. . .

BUY NEW SHOES!

But seriously, I rarely clean any of my shoes and it shows on a few pairs that I wear alot, I was looking into the Jason Markk cleaner, but wasnt sure, but I guess I'll try it if you guys say it works well.

Yeah that Jason Markk ain't no hype, it's the real deal. I love buying slightly used Vans, just so I can clean em up and make em look brand new.

I finally caved and bought the 8oz bottle of jason markk about a week ago. Worked really well for removing the dirt on the ari's. Well worth buying a bottle. By the way man that cleaner does smell good. I wasn't expecting that.

yeah, I think it's made with similar ingredients to hair shampoo. Hell, that's all it might be, in a rebadged sneakerhead bottle! Who wants to try?

I know Jason personally, and he collaborated with a chemist to come up with the solution that would be effective for cleaning but gentle on a wide array of common shoe fabrics. Definitely not hair shampoo, although it my be safe to wash your head with it too!

Thats really good to know, I was really iffy thinking that he just re packaged some shampoo or soap and sold them that way, just what ever was cheap or on sale.

Hehe naw, it's definitely unique. It smells unique, feels unique, and it works! I say shampoo, because on the bottle it says one ingredient is "jojoba" which is in some hair shampoos.

I finally pulled the trigger, I ordered the premium brush and the solution. I'm pretty excited, I've been really lazy, all of my shoes are really dirty.

You won't regret it, for sure. Don't forget to go to Wal-Mart or wherever, and get some microfiber towels. That's important for the Vans.

It's funny you said that. I only bought it because my mom gave me one of those $50 Amex gift cards so I tried to blow it. But with the micro fiber it cane out to $50.77 with shipping. I got declined. Haha. But I'll buy one for sure. My beater AM1, Usugrow HC, and Super Ape Skates need some love.
