Got a chance to see these as the little piggy went to market.

1. LEATHER: NOT happy. Resembles the Priz Hi Laced of a year or so ago that was waaaaay over priced and I fell for it.
2. Tongue tag is trying to be leather to the point that I want to yell WTF didn't you guys use PLEATHER?? I don't even know what it is.
3. Sole is made labeled "UT" which is good. The sole is slightly yellowed and has a great grainy feel to the foxing.
4. From a distance (short) sick release. If this is your style then it's on.
5. SOLID construction. Love the thick stitching. Not sure if the alien green color I heard of would have been a better option.
6. Insole = SICK. Hardware = SICK

Comes with black "rope" laces. Rubber stamps (investigate on your own). Dust bag.

I've been wondering about the tongue tag. Haven't been able to tell from pics what it's printed on, but I'm hoping it's not that same crappy material the 20th Anniversary Half Cabs used...

no its definitely its own thing --- kind of rubbery. The reason was to be able to translate all that detail.. wouldn't have worked on a woven label at all.

Yeah, but I mean the 20th Anniversary Half Cabs by Dirty Donny, MOFO, and Cab... It was printed on that paperlike Tyvek material I think... Which is fine for stuff that needs to be disposable yet durable, like wristbands at a concert or novelty items like Mighty Wallets... But the print rubs off over time, which is not cool on a pair of shoes when it's displaying artwork that is almost the whole part of the appeal of the shoes.

But yeah, glad to hear this is rubbery at least. As long as it's something that will last!
