I thought the sweepstakes was fake, but glad to see someone on here won something off of it! Nice one Tom!

I can see myself in these...

I like the Seacant model, but not really into any of the initial colorways.

Why do you say that? It's just begun!

I did really like the whole locked box concept they were doing.

Must stores that got them didn't have any info on the till the night before. Also, most stores only sold like 4 pairs. The winter pack will be dope!

Saw them at the Vans store at Montclair mall yesterday. Super lightweight, but ehh, not so sure on the durability of the soles. We'll just have to wait and see.

Checked these out today, I asked the guy at my local Vans how the LXVI collection was selling, he told me they have only sold 2 pairs since the release. Tryed the 'Graph' on, just like Nike Free's, they fit about a half size small. Definitely the best shoe/colorway in the pack (IMO) just not worth the $90. And just like it was mentioned earlier, these are already available @ Footlocker; lets just see how well they sell there.

saw the line today at Foot Locker. Nice lines, light weight. very clean look.

also saw a Sk8-Hi - black and mesh with mint trim. almost copped.

a good collection but I'm not sure how well they will be received by the public overall. anxious to see which one I receive in the mail to give them a try...

Judging on the bottom three pics that Ewrin posted. If you look at this shoe like a free runner, you might not like it that much. But if you look through the lens of a bmx'r or mx'r this shoe is bad ass, just my 2 cents. If I'm not working I would be ridding my bmx bike. This show will not be the best for performance, but chilling with your boys or going out. Now I get the teaser poster vans had for this line.

Maybe I'm wrong about " free runner" part now that I read over this. Any ways I would by the bottom three pics. Cause I like to ride bmx and so on.

There's only one model that really has that "Runner" vibe to it, and that's the 'Graph'. The other models pictured above, definitely have more of the BMX/Skate vibe to them. They are also made from thicker materials & have a thicker sole to them, kinda like a cup sole. Although they are all supposed to have the same technologies in them, it's quite obvious, these are very different.

Yeah, speaking as a runner, nobody should even try running in these. Even if Vans put out a pair of runners, I'd be very wary of them for a while anyway. But still, that would be a weird market for Vans to step into with basically no experience. (unless you're looking for a super minimalist shoe, cuz I've heard of barefoot/minimalist runners running in GR Vans and Chucks, but seriously, don't try that unless you're super experienced in that realm, haha)
