I didn't use JM on the canvas, just the suede. And you can't use that stiff brush they give you, you need a softer one. For the canvas, I diluted a light detergent and gave the shoes a good twice over. Air dry only. Rinse with water.

Buy the.premium hog brush. Its perfect for the softer materials on vans. i believe i remember reading that he went through alot of brush samples before he chose it. The regular brush might as well be made of wire...lol but perfect for that sole/midsole!

But seriously, get the premium hog brush! Lol

Lol! The smell of the cleaning solution took some gettin used to...at first it smells like urinal cake, but the absence of piss smell has allowed my mind to separate the 2...lol...

Thanks ha. After getting used to doing suede, it really does work. I don't really hesitate to work on nicer pairs
