Under The Palms

I love Lakai. They're a passed thing for me, but from 2007-2009 I skated their shoes on the daily. Marc Johnson's 3rd shoe is my favorite, I've been through 6 pairs of them. Best cupsole of all time IMO. I have a black/white pair left, as well as the 2006 MJ-3 Hi that was a collab with Chocolate. Those are dope, I'll post em here soon.

I also loved all the Carroll 4's, the Selects, and so on.

@Stoopz yeah their shirts are so original. I have the Paris Hilton "Lakai or Die" still.

I've still got a pair of both the black & gum and brown & gum OG manchesters.
Bring them out on occasion to skate, but generally try to keep them around as long as i can.

These r pretty fresh...

Carroll Selects are such a great shoe. Sole didn't last, though.

Yessir. The proper ones. Not that new, arrow-toed shape, either. Original stubby ones! Just before they stopped making them the first time. Got them off some fella on ebay maybe 5 years ago?

That's awesome man. You should post them sometime. Do you have the black pair that dropped for the collab with Neaux Dominion? I think it was Pappalardo's pair that he customized.

Today while packing I realized that I have the Skate Fairy x Lakai Carroll 4 lows and those loud navy/red/yellow Carroll Selects. I'm gonna post what I have for Lakai today or tomorrow.

The ones w/ the subway map flare? Nah, I wish. those were the dream pair.

ID, those were always sick. If I was a Telford guy I'd have copped them.

ID - The Welsh Telfords were sick! I was always kind of put off by the cigarette vibe when they first came out... I guess I was straight edge or something like it... but now I can appreciate them better.

Jesse - They had a white sole. midsole, anyway?

Rancid, I didn't even know they were menthol-themed myself until it was too late to cop haha. And okay, now I remember them more clearly. For some reason I remember a gum soled variant at some point. Or was that a black/white pair.. Hmm, yeah that sounds more right.

I'm moving soon, so once I have to dig into the shoe stacks I'll snap pictures of what Lakai stuff I have. Forgot how much I loved the first Mariano's. The four star collab was so damn sick. I don't have them anymore, but I do have the blue/white/gold colorway.
