Not sure why I haven't posted this guys site yet! I came across this guys work around 3 years when I was visiting friends in Seattle. Went to a gallery where this guy was showing off some of his one off shoes and I tell you what they are pretty amazing! The materials he uses are so simple yet he uses them to perfection! The designs are stunning with vivid color schemes! Louie Gong's art is inspired by his heritage (Nooksack, Squamish, Chinese, French, Scottish) and resembles Native American culture with a modern twist. The pictures of his work are one thing but when I saw his shoes in person I was truly amazed. He sells these for a pretty penny but you will be sure to be the only one with this shoe! Whether its a LIMITED RUN of a certain design of a ONE OFF UNIQUE PAIRS you are sure to get a shoe that your buddies will envy.
