I've had a few pairs of them and they're actually really comfortable. Sadly, no fit pics and I only have a pair of high top prison issues left, but if I get the chance I'll take some.

Thanks for the response rocket. They are really kinda an overlooked shoe. I read somewhere that back in the day van dorens actually supplied shoes for the california prison system.....not sure how much truth there is to that but thought it was pretty interesting. I feel like im gonna look like a little kid wearing velcro shoes but screw it I think there rad.
