High Snobiety brings us this preview of a futuristic Sk8 Hi.

Vans joins the long list of TRON: Legacy collaborators (Capellini, CLOT, Les Ateliers Ruby, Opening Ceremony, Burton, Medicom Toy) and got together with Disney to present a film themed Sk8 Hi sneaker. The high top comes in a black canvas/acqua leather colorway with a TRON tag placed on the tongue, Disney tag inside the tongue and some other futuristic design upgrades on the upper. The sneaker will release December 2010 at ABC-Mart in Japan

That said, I kind of feel like they could've done better with these. But I still want 'em. haha Also, it might just be these pics, so maybe they really pop in person.

They should've used that luminescent shit that you see on t-shirts in the mall now days, for the wave on the side. That would be dope for this shoe.

I would've done everything in my power to obtain a pair if they had!

If they glow in the dark they would be dope.

That's what I was hoping for with those highlights, but if that was the case, you'd think the promo shots would showcase it...

Oh man these are dope. Design could have been better but still feeling them. I can't wait for the movie either.

Do any of the Vans X Disney releases come out in the U.S.? It's a bummer when you see one of these releases only to find out that it's only available at ABC-Mart in Japan.

hahah i saw that stuff at ontario mills ! i wonder how they do it, and it still be washable..

I'm surprised at how half ass this SK8-HI is. The Japanese usually have some out of the box ideas but they really didn't deliver anything innovative or cool with this one.
